Park Tail Comb. From the top of the head down to behind the ears on both sides & section off each side with a Y.S. Park Shark Clip. Create a tight ponytail in the middle of the head. Take 1” horizontal sections from the back on each side & section off the remaining hair. Apply a small amount of Pattern Edge Control to the roots & a small amount of Pattern Styling Cream to the rest of each section and comb down diagonal & tight until your comb reaches the hair tie. Repeat this step until all hair is slick back making sure to leave 2 pieces of hair out framing the face. Gather all hair tightly into a ponytail & secure with a Hook Hair Tie. Apply a small amount of the styling cream to the ponytail and brush through to give a flexible hold. Using Black Elastic tie a knot around the ponytail to secure & then wrap the ponytail with the elastic until you get 1/2 way down. Fold the wrapped section of the ponytail connecting it above the hair tie, then wrap & create another knot with the elastic to secure. Comb up remaining hair & pin in place with U-Shaped Pins. This is my favorite heat protectant because it has a lot of hold & is great if your hair doesn’t usually hold a curl or wave. Create a center part that goes all the way down to the nape of the neck using a Y.S. Park Tail Comb & section each side off with a Y.S. Park Shark Clip. Starting at the nape of the neck working your way up create a 2” diagonal section on each side. Within each section take 2” vertical sections and lightly bend away from the face on both sides using the Babybliss Pro Nano TItanium Flat Iron. Repeat all the way up until you are left with the last 2 sections. Curl each of the sections framing the face by lightly bending and twisting the straightener as you glide down the section. Lightly brush through hair, flip over & generously spray with a R+Co BLEU Ultra Dry Texture Spray. Gather the hair into a low, loose ponytail leaving out some hair that’s framing the face. Fishtail braid the entire pony. Start with two equal sections of hair. Take a small piece from the outside of one section and cross it over to the other side, adding it to that section. Repeat this process, alternating sides, until the end of the hair is reached, then secure with a Kitsch No Snag Small Elastic Hair Tie. Spray hair at the crown with R+CO BLEU Ultry Dry Texture Spray & lightly pull to loosen hair at the crown. Once hair at crown is loosened lightly spray the braid & pull pieces/loosen the braid for added texture. Create desired shape using U-shaped pins to secure style. To finish curl or bend pieces of hair framing the face with a small BaBylissPRO Nano Titanium Mini Flat Iron Hair Straightener, 0.5" & lightly spray again with texture spray. Once braid is complete using Jumbo Bob Pins secure desired flowers in place by pinning directly to braid to complete the style. Once finished waving run fingers through hair to break up waves. Bend all hair at the roots going in different directions to give a wild effect to the look. Using a Hair Pick gently lift roots & lightly comb through style. Flip head over & generously spray with Oribe Apres Beach Wave and Shine Spray. Flip head back upright & spray again working with fingers to achieve the desired texture.
